On December 27, China (Xiamen) Graphene New Material Industrial Summit Conference & "Innovation and Business Venturing in China" Xiamen Station were smoothly held. This Conference was guided by the Fujian Development and Reform Commission, the Department of Science and Technology of Fujian Province and the Fujian Association for Science and Technology and co-sponsored by the Management Committee of XMTORCH, the Graphene Liaison Office of Fuijan Province, the June 18 Organizing Committee of Fujian Province, the Xiamen Development and Reform Commission, the Science and Technology Bureau of Xiamen and the Xiamen Association for Science and Technology.

　　This Conference is another important measure taken by XMTORCH to further implement the spirits of Xiamen's investment promotion conference and the development conference for fast-growing hi-tech enterprises with a high added value, establish a highly energetic industrial ecology of the new economy and promote the development of regional industries towards technology-intensive and high-added-value sectors. Focusing on the theme of "innovation, win-win and development", the Conference was attended by Nobel prize winner Konstantin Novoselov, academicians of the CAS, including Tian Zhongqun and Liu Zhongfan, and also 300+ representatives from governments, universities, scientific research institutes, and graphene enterprises.

　　During the Conference, the products in a number of graphene application sectors, including heat conductance, heat radiation, anticorrosive coating, purification and environment protection, semiconductor, new-energy battery and others, were displayed. A series of other events followed, including project match meeting, project contract signing ceremony and project road show. Various innovation teams of Fujian availed this conference as a good platform to display the unique charms of graphene as the "king of new materials".

　　In order to promote the orderly development of the industrial ecology of graphene new materials, XMTORCH has made explorations in the development system based on a full survey of Xiamen's graphene technology and industrial resources in recent years. These efforts are expected to establish a graphene new material innovation chain, industrial chain and service chain. For that reason, professional incubators of graphene new material industries, public technical service platforms and creative spaces which are oriented to the province and even the country, have been established successively and Xiamen has become one of the six key domestic regions for the development of graphene industry nationwide.

　　It is noteworthy that XMTORCH plans to invest 1 billion Yuan in the construction of a graphene new material industrial park in order to satisfy the infrastructure and service needs of graphene new material projects at different development phases. As an essential constituent of XMTORCH's "crowd innovation -incubation - acceleration - industrialization" chain, this industrial park will be completed at the end of 2021. After it is launched into operation, the graphene incubation base of XMTORCH will have a construction area of about 260,000sqm.
