Torch (Huli) Park :the cradle of Xiamen Torch Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone, including Torch Park and Information Optoelectronics Park, is where the Administrative Committee is located, integrating headquarters, R&D centers with advanced manufacturing and modern service industries. Well-known Companies, like ABB Schneider, Dell, TPK, Panasonic, Hualian Electronics, etc., have already settled down here.
Xiamen Hi-tech Innovation Center: This park is the largest state-level Hi-Tech incubator for tech firms on the western coast of the Taiwan Strait, enjoying high-priority support from the Ministry of Science and Technology. It comprises three parts-Xiamen Pioneering Park for Overseas Chinese Scholars, Xiamen Incubation Center for Taiwanese Technology Enterprises, and Xiamen Accelerator for Hi-Tech Enterprises.
Xiamen Software Park Phases I&‖: This park is focused on software development, IC design, mobile Internet, cloud computing and big data, gaming and animation, and digital contents. It is home to many prestigious companies, such as Meitu,Meiya Pico,MIGU,etc.
Beijing University Biological Park: As one of the few garden-style industrialization bases in China for bioengineering, this park is home to Fujian Engineering Technology Research Center for Gene Medicine Enterprises and is credited with the development of Fujian’s first national Category 1 new medicine.
Torch (Xiang’an) Industrial Area: Located in Xiamen’s Xiang’an District, it is the largest optoelectronic industrial park which has ever been developed. As a state-level optoelectronic industrial vase focused on LED and FPD, the area is home o many renowned enterprises, including AUO,UMC,NEG,San’an Optoelectronics,TPV,etc.
Xiamen Software Park Phase III: Situated in the north of Xiamen’s Jimei New Town, this park has a planned area of 10 sq km and consists of a software R&D base and an animation education base. Facilities completed or under construction have a combined gross floor area of 1.5million square meters. The park is only 30 minutes’ drive from any point in the city center, an hour’s drive from any point in the Xiamen-Zhangzhou-Quanzhou Metropolitan Area, 4hours’ drive from any point in the Yangtze and Pearl River Delta Economic Zones, and merely 20 minutes’ drive from Wutong Wharf ,which operates direct voyages to Taiwan.The park is adjacent to Jimei School Village, which contains a large number of institutions of higher education. These colleges and universities have provided over 100,000 undergraduates for enterprises based in the park. Those enterprises engaged in 8 industries are highly encouraged to enter which are information security digital creativity, e-commerce, smart city and industry applications, IC design, mobile Internet, the Internet of Thins, intelligent manufacturing and robots, big data, cloud computing, artificial intelligence.
TongXiang Hi-Tech Industrial Bases: These two industrial bases are located in Tong’an and Xiang’an Districts in the mainland part of Xiamen. With a combined area of 45.75sq km, the bases are focused on IC, flat panel displays, LED,new-generation information technology, new materials, new energy, and high-end equipment manufacturing.
Tong’an Base: Located in northeast Xiamen on the border between Tong’an and Xiang’an Districts, this base ahs a total area of 35.07 sq km with convenient transportation.
Xiang’an base:lying in east Xiamen in close proximity to Neicuo Logistics Park and all major industrial parks, this base boasts a comprehensive range of support facilities and a beautiful environment; it has a total area of 10. 68 sq km.
Xiamen Technology Innovation Park: This park stands by Meifeng Reservoir on West Seaside Avenue along Xiamen’s eastern sea rim, the geographic center of South Fujian Golden Triangle,and on the border between Jimei and Tong’an Districts. It contains the most iconic group of business buildings on Xiamen’s eastern coast, and is 60km and 45km from the city centers of Quanzhou and Zhangzhou, respectively. With an area of 4.9 sq km, this park is positioned as a brand-new knowledge community focused on scientific research; it is poised to become a driver of hi-tech industrialization. This park is 7km from Xiamen North Railway Station, 9km from Gaoqi Airport,3.5km from Tong’an Bay Bridge ,4.5km from Jimei Bridge, and 7km from Xiamen Bridge. The Metro Bay Ring Line (Metro Line 5), currently under planning, will pass by the park. West Seaside Avenue, an expressway on the western side of the park, has been opened to traffic. Meifeng and Houtian Stations of the BRT system serve the areas around the park. This park is 5km to 6 km away from the NO.2 Hospital, Jimei University and Huaqiao University and only 4.5km from a large mall. The site is surrounded by blocks of apartments, enjoying a comprehensive range of support facilities and amenities for residents. This park is targeted at R&D institutions and low-carbon industries.
